Why I Love These Pictures

August 9, 2012

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words. But whose words are doing the talking? I guess that kind of depends on the perspective of the viewer.

Every now and again, I’ll be writing the why’s behind the picture. Why did I choose to post it? Why does it matter to me? What is it that I want to remember?

10 Reasons Why I Love These Pictures:

1) Beckam’s first time in a pool (it literally took his breath away)

2) His perfectly round head and my fettish for petting it constantly

3) Miniature swim trunks

4) My polka dot swim dress from 3 years ago. I still prefer it over any other suit. Come to think of it, I’m pretty sure I wore it swimming the first time with Gage too! ha!

5) Messy bun (proof that I only get my hair wet when it’s dirty)

6) How Gage holds hands “finger style”… it doesn’t get any sweeter

7) His wet hair… evidence that he attempted to overcome his fear of getting water in his eyes. Or in his words, “No eyes!”

8) A chubby belly that also serves as reminder that he’s 2 (not 12) and I need to savor how little he still is.

9) Ryan’s adorable smile

10) In August, it’s too hot to be anywhere other than in water

I agree that being in the water is the only way to survive the heat 🙂 Too bad our kiddy pool is not big enough for me to lay down in…

    Hello,

Been a lurker on your blog for sometime. I’m kinda new to the blogging world, but I figured there’s no time like the present to jump on in there. 🙂

Just wanted to say, that you’re family is very adorable and I, too, am of the “only getting hair wet when it’s dirty” type of girl.
