Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! We spent ours:

 

collecting – leaves on evening walks
eating – warm apple pie a’la mode
driving – in the mountains
singing – songs ridiculously loud
holding – hands
drinking – cider
cuddling – under the covers
climbing – apple trees (and hay bales, too)
laughing – all the way

    Sounds like you had the perfect weekend! I am loving the outfit! Just out of curiosity…any suggestions on bb/cc creams? I am on the hunt for a new one and your make up always looks amazing!

      I’ve recently switched from BB creams to CC – have tried both Smashbox and Peter Thomas Roth and liked PTR the best. For BB creams I prefer Dr. Jart’s or Maybelline.

    Hi Missy,
    With autumn in full force, after I apply makeup my skin is leaving a lot to be desired.
    I want that all winter glow, however, I am quite pale and a blonde to boot.
    How do you achieve the dewy appearance in the dry months without wearing thick foundations or looking greasy?

      Hi AJ! I know EXACTLY what you’re talking about. I’d recommend using a clarisonic brush at night when you apply your cleanser to removed dead skin. A mask once a week also helps. Using BB or CC cream (it’s moisturizing; but light) will help give you even skintone without using a foundation. You can use a finishing powder on top to help with sheen, if you notice it being too shiny. I also like to apply a highlighter to the apples of my cheeks, corner of eyes, and a bit on my nose and chin to give that “glow”.
