It’s not every day that you meet someone special. I met two special people this past weekend. One I met up with for dinner. The other I met shopping.

Husby has been working ’til obnoxiously late hours for an MBA competition coming up. Instead of bein’ a boob ’bout it – I invited myself to a dinner date with him at Nordie’s. It’s kinda my new favorite “quick bite” place. Everything is fresh and seasoned just perfectly. Me+Bubba+Husby+Salmon Salad @ 6:00. It was set.

I got there before him {yes, on purpose so I could do a little browing…}. Low and behold I met special person numero dos: Miss Emily Maynard {from The Bachelor}. I know, right!!?!! I didn’t exactly know what to do! I felt like running up to her and giving her a big ole hug and saying, “Why are you so gosh darn cute? Wanna be besties?” But I decided to be polite and let her shop in peace {well kinda…keep reading}. We did however both gravitate towards the same ADORABLE top! Eeek! I could hardly stand it’s cuteness. It’s as if a pillar of light rested upon it laying so perfectly on SAAVY’s table display – just beckoning us both to buy it. And we both did!

So in enters Husby {rollin’ up the escalator}. I mouth to him, “It’s Emily…” He responds, “Who?”… In a whisper scream, “Bozo! Emily, from The Bachelor!!!” I was a tad excited to tell him bc Em’s his favorite too! It’s hilarious how we both pick our front runners on Premiere night. We were both #1 fans of Emily from “first step outta the limo.”

Husby, just Mr. Social & instant besties with pure strangers (no seriously, he is. he makes friends with everyone he meets). Goes straight up to her..

Ry: “Oh hey! You’re Emily from The Bachelor, right?”

Emily: She got flush and bashfully said, “yes.”

Ry: “I’ve seen it…Well, actually my wife has seen it more than I have.” (puhlease…he begs me to wait to watch it until he gets home, so we can see it together). “We both really like it,” he continues.

Emily: “Yeah, the whole thing was crazy. It’s so crazy that my life has been spelled out on TV for everyone to see.”

Ry: “I can imagine. So does everything turn out ok?”

Emily: Giggles “Hee hee…” still RED…fiddling around with jewelry…awkward silence.

Ry: Uh what do I say…she feels uncomfortable. “C’mon Missy lets go eat. Well, take care Em.”

Emily: “It was nice meeting you and your cute family” then headed for the cash wrap to get her things and go.

Was tempted to check the dressing rooms for Mr. Womack… but no, that’s creepy, friendlies. My stomach growling for food was a bigger priority.

I definitely think it’s her standing in the end!!! There’s already rumors out there that friends have said he picks someone else. I think it’s plain obvious that he’s head over heels for this doll. I can smell it from a mile away. Reminds me of when Husby and I dated. He would fumble on words and completely forget what to say. It’s meant to be that way… A guy that’s crazy ’boutcha from the get go will be crazy for the long haul. As long as they work to get you – they’ll continue to work to keep you. I see it with these two!

Oh and get this! After dinner, BP was doing an employee fashion show and made an announcement, “If you bought anything tonight… print an extra receipt and enter it into the raffle to get your total for free!” Uh, what? Just my luck, right? Meeting cute Emily and {hopefully} getting our twiner top for nada!! Only downer? Kicking myself I didn’t get a picture with her…

I want you to be standing in my closet every morning ready to dress me!

If I lived next door… I would. Gladly. Designing/dressing others is waaay more fun that myself. Take pics of your clothes and I’ll tell you want to pair…
