FHE Picnic

April 12, 2011

Last night was Ef. Ehch. Eee. or FHE or Fuhee {as I call it}… Whatever or however you say it – it’s a little thing that we hold on Monday nights, called – Family Home Evening. It’s held in reserve for us to be together as a cutesie family, put the world behind us for a few hours, talk, learn about life’s important lessons, and ultimately grow closer. Aww, tender, right?! I know. Makes me feel like I live in a little love nest {Cheep cheep}. So Monday nights + Husby rackin’ his noodles over gettin’ more smarty pants = FHE is pretty much MIA. For Cryin’ Clams!! If he can’t come “home” then… Fetch! We’ll just have to bring “home” to him! And we did. Bubba made us an amazing picnic dinner while I painted my toesies. He’s kinda “gifted” like that for an 11 mo old {but I’m not one to brag}. Our little life lesson was about attitude: seeing the glass half empty or half full.

“We have a choice. We can seek for the bad in others. Or we can make peace and work to extend to others the understanding, fairness, and forgiveness we so desperately desire for ourselves. It is our choice; for whatever we seek, that we will certainly find.”-Dieter F. Uchtdorf

well that sandwich sure did look good! It actually made me want to try fry sauce on my sandwiches… I might have to try it.. but i doubt mine will look near as cute and packaging sells the taste even more for me..

Thanks, sweetie! It’s waay tasty on sammies. It’s hard dress them any other way when rotisserie chicken is in the dollhouse!

We should go on a picnic next time we’re together, I’ll bring some frozen fruit popsicles! Bubba will love them too.
