Falling For Fall

This fall has been more captivating than most. Nothing really in particular that sets it apart from Autumn’s past. But somehow, my heart is more sensitive to its beauty — how the sun’s light seems to kiss the trees in a more magical way. How the leaves swirl like popped confetti when a car passes. How incredibly graceful a single leaf floats, when making its final decent. My heart is touched by it all … and it makes me happy. Really happy.

It’s a beautiful place: this ever-changing World we live in.

Love fall. It’s tough this year spending these months in Southern California rather than the Northeast where I’ve lived nearly all my life. Guess I was more attached to those changing leaves and that crisp air than I thought!

And thanks for giving me the courage to break out my beanie! I ordered a cream-colored one from asos awhile back on a whim and haven’t yet worn it. Today’s the day! 🙂
