It tastes like spring! And smells like it, too! I must admit, some of the smells aren’t as lovely as their blossoms. I’m referring to “fish trees”. I’m sure they have some fancy feminine name… but they’ve been newly nicknamed “fish trees”. Nasty. Like rank smells hovering over a fisherman’s crab boat with stanky ole’ rotten ones that got lost between the planks. Or like the aftersmells that linger on your fingertips after kerplunking wontons into some “unknown” sauce that reeks of fish. Luckily I found some beautiful blossoms that didn’t smell of fish but rather, more like sugar. And I might add that I’ve got a slight fetish for all things floral – ie my tops, table linens, and even an urge to overhaul our yard with an explosion of flowers. I love them. Especially hydrangeas and gerbers. And the pretty little ones on this top.

ewwie! There was a tree like this going over the tunnel at the College I went to in Ohio. Such an inconvenient place for SUCH a stinky/pretty tree!!! When it was hot, it would smell like HOT fish! lol You would almost have to go through the tunnel from the car garage but I would almost always go the long way to get away from that smell!!
Glad to hear I’m not the only one whose day revolves around avoiding nast HOT fish trees.
So I want to get some cute wedges for the summer but I can’t find any that are that comfortable. Are those comfortable? Be honest. Way cute shirt by the way!!!
Ok, just found DARLING slash HAUTE ones at Charlotte Russe yesterday! And as a lil’ sweet treat, you get a second pair for $10. Scope it out online first so you can narrow your options down. It’ll be hard to choose bc honestly there were like 6 pairs I wanted! The comfort factor? Aldo has comfortable wedges but they’ll be a tad more pricey. Also try Nordstrom Rack. And Target never ceases to amaze me. Vera Wang has some REALLY cute & REALLY comfortable ones at Kohl’s. Hope some of these options help!!!
