Healthy Resolutions

Sleep Number Kids (blog) (28 of 48)

January is notorious for setting resolutions — a better you, a new start, putting away those pesky bad habits, an overall healthier state… yada yada you get the drift. Whelp, now that we’re a quarter into the year it’s time to reevaluate how it’s all going. There’s the tendency to brush it off and say, “Well, that was short-lived…” or to make the necessary changes to improve. This year, we instituted a new way to keep our resolutions on track: focusing on predetermined monthly goals. As a family, we discussed where we needed and wanted to improve, narrowed it down to twelve resolutions, and then assigned one to each month. January was dedicated to punctuality. And you know what? We were successful at it (with the exception of my epic failed attempts to go to bed early…  haha)! But that little taste of family success was all we needed to stay motivated. Come February 1st, our oldest son was eager to forge ahead to our new goal: speaking love. March has come and gone and we’ve slipped a little: patience, it’s hard to master in a single month, am I right? But we’re still chugging, trying to stay accountable, and doing it all together while also keeping calm. When it comes to finding some peace of mind, exploring a reliable dispensary location might just be the key. And that’s where products like delta 8 hawaii can play a role in helping with this journey.

I guess you could say, one of our umbrella resolutions is to live healthier in body and mind. We’ve instituted a few changes already: the use of essential oils and organic products from Organic CBD Nugs, whole food snacking, and a plan for better sleep. So far, we’ve educated ourselves on essential oils and have incorporated them into our everyday life. It’s even the little things like, adding vitamin C to bath water; or replacing whole foods in lieu of packaged snacks. And, of course, with a very busy and structured lifestyle, quality healthy sleep is now on the forefront of our minds.

Remember when we visited the Sleep Number® store? That kick started the desire to sleep better. So you can imagine, we couldn’t be more excited to keep working with Sleep Number throughout the remainder of 2016, to help make those healthy changes last. In fact, in just a few weeks we’re finally taking the plunge — swapping out our standard mattress for a Sleep Number bed with built-in  SleepIQ™ technology. Stay tuned… we can’t wait to share more of our healthy journey in becoming better, with you!

So excited you’re trying out a sleep number mattress. We have been looking into one and I know your honesty will help us decide if it’s right for us. Looking forward to hearing your experience with it.

At times I am lost as a mother; just not knowing how it all works like a well-oiled machine. You’ve got your ducks in a row, lady! Keep teaching us!

Love the idea of monthly resolutions! I choose a word for each year (stretch / perspective / trust) and apply it throughout all areas but this idea as a family is amazing! Thanks for sharing snippets into your everyday life … Always inspiring (& amazingly adorable of course) … Can you share whole food snacks you get your kiddos to eat? We basically do hummus and veggies but are dairy free so have limited ideas …and I have one very picky eater ? Thanks!! ☺️?
