Hut Hut Hike! Super Bowl XLVI

January 31, 2012

Regardless of ball games or bowl games, I’m always rooting for good grub. The teams? Meh… I don’t have much of a preference unless you ask me to critique their uni’s.

Guess I’m partial to the commercials, anyway.

Here’s this year’s round-up a bit early so you can get your shopping lists ready!

Oh my gosh! These look amazing! I wish I hosted the superbowl at my place! I would make a feast like you!

Surprise the hostess with the footballs! I’m sure they won’t mind 😉

I am making this this weekend! I’m so excited! I love in Indianapolis and the Super Bowl parties and crowds are so much fun downtown! Only happens once in a lifetime.

    YUM!!!!!

  • Stephanie January 31, 2012 at 3:11 pm

The individual dip cups are the cutest! I like small sized portions like these.

    • missy February 2, 2012 at 2:25 am

It’s my way of portion control for the Husby. Ha! If I gave him free reign he’d eat us out of house and home.

  • Sara Flynn January 31, 2012 at 5:49 pm

The strawberries are so cool!!! I would never be able to pull that off though… my “football” would be chocolate covered strawberries with random white all over it!

    Love this post!

    • missy February 2, 2012 at 2:27 am

Oh sure you could! I only post things that are simple. And if for some reason it’s ever difficult I always give fair warning. Try them. I triple dip dare you! xo

I am SUCH a 7-layer dip fan. But nothing evoked quite the reaction in me that those chocolate-covered strawberries did. Heavenly! And so CUTE!

    • missy February 2, 2012 at 2:27 am

      Aww, thanks Anna.

  • Rachel {polkadots and puppies] January 31, 2012 at 6:33 pm

Red rover red rover, send Rachel right over! If only it were that easy, right?

  • Haleigh February 1, 2012 at 5:54 pm

Oh my gosh! I made the sandwiches last night and YUMMERS!! Fiance and I loved them:) Thanks!

    • missy February 2, 2012 at 2:29 am

If I got Fiance’s approval I feel like a zillion bucks. It is one of those things that both genders enjoy (all the goodness of wings without the fatty skin & veins… ew). Thanks for letting me know you liked them! xo

Thank-you, thank-you for the great 7 layer bean dip idea! You are heaven sent… I am making 7 layer bean dip for my son’s birthday party and i was trying to figure out a cute idea for individual servings… your idea is perfect! THANK-YOU!

    • missy February 6, 2012 at 2:17 pm

ummm…you’re pretty awesome! I’m so trying both of these for this year’s Super Bowl Party! Thanks!

  • Kathy January 31, 2013 at 11:36 pm

I am going to try the 7 layer dip and strawberries for our party this weekend. Great ideas! Quick question, can I prepare the cups of 7 layer dip in advance? i have a lot of people coming and i don’t want to put a lot together when everyone is here.
    Thanks!!
