Spring Stripes

Blossoms are popping on the trees and the sun is shining — it’s officially spring! I’ve always loved stripes but that especially holds true for spring! They provide texture to any look without the need for layers; yet still lend themselves to layering (with a cardigan, my favorite military jacket, denim jacket or even a denim shirt –  yes, doubling-up shirts totally works) if wanted or needed for colder temps. Throw a baseball cap on with any blouse or go extra casual with a varsity tee. The tunic I’m wearing happens to be maternity; BUT I purchased knowing it would work post baby too! One can never have too many stripes. Don’t believe me? Take a trip into my closet. They’re all well-loved and well-worn and always a favorite go-to throughout the season. Gah! Gimme all the stripes!
