Spin Art

May 9, 2012

A rainy day (as in a monsoon of a downpour) calls for fun indoors. Who needs toys when you can play with kitchen gadgets and paint? Clouds are gray again today. Guess there’s no point in putting away the paint…

Simply cut out the centers of paper plates, place inside a salad spinner, drizzle paint on top, and spin spin spin!!! Use washable paints for an easy rinse and clean of the salad spinner.

Love how simple and easy this is. Great idea! I think I’ll use this for the background for Mother’s Day cards.

Had lots of fun with my 5year old grandson. And yes salad spinner came clean. I used the washable paint to make sure. He will be taking on home as a present for his Mommy. Thanks for the idea!
