S’mores & Stories

November 1, 2012

This past Monday we spent our evening together under a clear sky, filled with twinkly stars. It was the perfect backdrop for storytelling and s’mores. There’s something about s’mores that seems more appropriate in Autumn when the air is crisp.

We’re not really the outdoorsie/camping type. But with a quick lighting of a wick, we had an instant backyard bonfire.

We added some unconventional s’more goodies: mint chocolate cookie wafers, cookies dipped in chocolate & pretzels, fresh fruit, and quality chocolate (salted caramel, orange, cookies n’cream, and milk).

It’s an Autumn evening we plan on repeating each year.

    Hey Missy,

I went to purchase one of the logs and shipping is very pricy! To the tune of $20 for the log. Have you found these in store anywhere?
