After Spring and Summer, we’re all accustomed to the bold trend of colorblocking and mixing patterns. Fall gives permission to go ahead and mix the two! Try it with a preppy collegiate look. This season you’ll see contrasting and embellished removable oxford collars (or in this case a menswear bowtie). Be prepared to see polka dots, animal prints (specifically leopard and snakeskin), black and white combinations, and rich jewel tones (royal blue will be big). Who says your inner “smarty pants” can’t also be fashionably forward?

Tell me you didn’t really wear that? It’s terrible. It looks like a costume, not an actual outfit. You normally dress SO cute. I think you missed the mark with this one. Keep it in mind for the end of Oct. though. Sorry, I don’t mean to be harsh… but this one is bad. I’m going to try to be positive now, because I promise I’m not a meanie… so here goes…. maybe adding a few of these things to a button down and slacks… but the pants, and bow tie and glasses… it’s just too much. You are way too cute for this outfit! Okay, I’ll stop now.
