I’m thirsty. We didn’t floss. Uh-oh, where’s my bunny? I see a shadow! A few more songs, please. And the most recent one being…  I need to tell forest (our elf on a shelf) a secret for Santa! I’ll be right back, Ma! Insert monkey covering her eyes emoji. If you’re a Mama, you get the picture. I kinda love it though. Kids are the cutest and I adore their creativity. Even if it does happen to shine its brightest at bedtime! ha!

Ever since our move to our new home, we’ve been working with the boys on their individual routines and responsibilities. One is to make their beds before coming to breakfast. For several months now, they’ve been successful at making their beds every single morning, with little or no reminding. Ding-ding! I’ll count that as points in both of our baskets! But one thing that’s been a major help are using the right bed linens. The BEST sheets in the WORLD (and yes, the caps are totally necessary). Let me explain…

I used to keep their sheets in tact with safety pins (a trick my grandma taught me) — a few here and there to keep the top sheet from becoming a crumpled-up-ball-monster under the comforter, at the bottom of the bed. Well… lo and behold, some genius thought of a practical solution! And should I ever meet that said genius, I’ll gladly run and jump into their arms and give them big fat lipstick smooch marks on both cheeks!

You guys, sheet sets with buttons! I KNOW, right!? A complete life-changer.

SLEEP NUMBER® is to thank for this invention of Smart Button™ bedding! The bottom fitted sheet has two buttons on each side; as well as the most durable elastic I’ve ever seen with added anchor bands at each corner to keep everything in place. This puppy doesn’t budge! Then, the top sheet has button holes for fastening to the fitted sheet. And for good measure, another round of elastic at the bottom to keep it securely in place. Are you scratching your head? I had never heard of a top sheet with elastic at the bottom end, either.  So smart! We also love their Ultra-Light Down Alternative Comforters. Both of our boys are sensitive to temperature; so, the PrimaLoft® ThermoBalance™ fill prevents overheating while still keeping them snuggly warm. Not too heavy; but oh so comfy! And they’d argue it’s best purpose is for hiding under during a brotherly pillow fight!

The first time they slept with their new SLEEP NUMBER® linens was for an afternoon nap. When they awoke, they were so excited to tell me his bed was more comfortable than before! The proof he was telling the truth: they both slept for two and half hours! And that wasn’t just a fluke. They really  have been sleeping better tucked insnuggly. And early morning bed-making is also reaping the rewards. Friends, I really am SO excited about these thoughtful and innovative linens!

And in case you’re wondering, they also come in full and queen sizes (in addition to the twins). Now I’m just patiently awaiting the day they unlock a king version! But for now, I’m just tickled Santa won’t be jotting down any ‘naughty’ notes when it comes to the sleep department!

Yes, why can’t we all have buttons on our sheets! Adorable post and those sheets truly look crisp and comfy.

Love this concept and can’t wait to try some, but my question is where is the rest of bedding from?
