Breakfast Drinks Food Snacks

Orange Fluffy

July 31, 2015

Please tell me we aren’t the only weirdos that have food fads? We tend to kick it at the same restaurant every Saturday night because it somehow sounds good every Saturday night. The same quirky food habits also apply at home. Yogurt with fruit and granola has been our mainstay breakfast this summer. Along with hamburgers (sweet, mercy… sounds good right about now). But this dreamy orange fluffy is breaking all the rules — she’s been around since April, well outliving ‘fad’ status and has become a staple. It’s like an Orange Julius but completely healthy and beyond satisfying. The key is keeping the white pith (you know the stuff you peel off and throw away?) to make it extra nutritious and oh so creamy! I might add, that little Butterscotch (a new nickname B’s named himself) was in the cutest mood, just hootin’ it up right and left! Why blend oranges when you can use them as sunglasses, or for building towers, and of course used as bowling balls rolling a strike down our kitchen table. This kid kills me, in the best kind of way — makes my heart skip beats on the daily. Good thing I’ve got this drink to keep my ticker a’tickin’…

I miss those days when my children were little. They tend to remind us what is important and the simple things are always best. Precious memories. They are adorable.

Oh my goodness, these pics are adorable. 2 things about B that stand out in these pics: 1. His teeth are perfect! 2. He looks like a mini Mark. Def. takes after your side of the family 🙂

This sounds yummy. So good in fact that I forwarded your link to my neighbor who has little children. Hidden agenda? Yes, I hope she makes it for the kids and sends a cup over here!
