Breakfast

One Smart Cookie

August 22, 2011

Mister smarty pants kinda did us proud (working full time, welcoming the new role of dad, and going to school). Probably took 5 years off his life. But he’s finally DONZO!

We celebrated his MBA graduation with a “One Smart Cookie” breakfast. What’s better than classic cookies and cold milk? Nothing unless you’re a breakfast guru! So I combined two of Loverbun’s favorites into one… voila, cookie waffles!

Babe? Pretty sure your gym membership is the best investment you’ve made (other than the rock on my finger).

Our little family (LuLu-bug included) are SO VERY proud of you!!

And friendlies? That little stinker of a test, HERE? Yep! He ace’d it! I guess a lucky clover really IS lucky!

These look delicious. Especially the snickerdoodle waffle. It is calling to me. Guess these will be breakfast next weekend!!

Oooh you’ll love. I think the Sinckerdoodle was my favorite too! Make sure not to forget a little syrup (not a lot just a little). Um and sliced up bananas wasn’t too shabby on ’em either! xo

Well it looks like a waffle maker is now at the top of my “must have” list for my apartment! I can’t wait to make these.

    • missy August 24, 2011 at 12:38 pm

Haha! Definitely a necessity in my book!

My tummy is saying “yes please another round” but my tusher is saying, “stop don’t do this to me!”

And I wish you were my next door neighbor because you’re seriously so sweet. You definitely made my ticker smile this morning! xo

Well, it’s official. I really REALLY like you! I found you because my friend pinned your loose curls tutorial, and turns out I know your cousin, Rachel Woodward! See? We were meant to be friends! These look DELICIOUS, by the way!

Oh, and I’m still really curious about your dry shampoo routine 😉

question: just found this on pinterest and would like to make the snickerdoodle waffles, but the recipe doesn’t say how much oats to use?

    • missy February 27, 2012 at 3:11 am

Whoopsie, that’s a typo. No oats are used in this recipe. Sorry for the mixup! I’ll go and fix it, thanks! xo

      … or how much sugar?

  • Edwina February 16, 2015 at 4:30 pm

How much sugar in the snickerdoodle recipe? It says 1 tbsp plus more baking but doesn’t say how much for baking.
