  • Michelle October 19, 2012 at 11:58 am

I may now be brave evough to try these thanks to you pretty lady πŸ™‚ is the eyeshadow you are wearing from your five minute makeup? Thanks for sharing this! You rock!

    • missy October 22, 2012 at 12:58 pm

Yep! I absolutely LOVE my makeup forever eyeshadow crayons!

  • Leigh October 19, 2012 at 12:33 pm

I love fake eyelashes. I don’t really wear them for everyday use, but I began wearing them when I was little for dance recitals and then definitely made sure to wear them in August when I got married! I do have a tip though. Squeeze the glue onto the end of a bobby pin and then apply the glue on to the eyelash using the bobby pin. This eliminates the risk of accidentally squeezing too much glue onto the actual eyelash. Works like a charm every time!

    • missy October 22, 2012 at 12:58 pm

Ooh, I might have to try that trick. Thanks for sharing.

  • Krista Kerns October 19, 2012 at 12:33 pm

    Ok…I LOVE your nail polish.
Will you share the deets with me? πŸ™‚

    • missy October 22, 2012 at 12:59 pm

2 bucks at Target! haha! It’s by e.l.f (with the snakeskin lids) in the dark plum color (doesn’t have an actual name).

  • Cindy Chiapusio October 19, 2012 at 1:55 pm

    Hey there…

I have very short eyelashes….have used/bought every product known to man and other than using false lashes, I cannot get the look I want. I even have had professionally salon applied lashes that last about two weeks if you’re careful with them. I wanted to ask what you do daily to produce that long look, how often do you wear the false lashes and have you ever considered Latisse?

    • missy October 22, 2012 at 1:01 pm

Welcome to the stubby lash, club. I’m using a new product by Beauty Society called, Enormous Lash and really like it so far. I’ve already seen growth in just a few short weeks. This is the knock-off version of Latisse. You can buy it through Nordstrom or via our sponsors website.

  • Sasha-cha cha October 19, 2012 at 2:17 pm

I am with Krista, I wanted to comment and ask about your nail polish! Please let us know what it is:)

    • missy October 22, 2012 at 1:01 pm

  • MANDA October 19, 2012 at 5:05 pm

Cute! I LOVE falsies!! So much nicer and money smart than extensions. My favorite are the Luckies.

    • missy October 22, 2012 at 1:02 pm

I’m always up for trying new ones. I’ll have to give the luckies a go! Thanks, Manda.

  • Christina Shea October 19, 2012 at 5:17 pm

Your tip about pinching them together is great! I never thought to do that! πŸ™‚

    • missy October 22, 2012 at 1:03 pm

It helps ensure they don’t pull away, especially at the ends.

  • Lia Joy October 19, 2012 at 5:43 pm

Thanks so much for this! I wore falsies at our wedding, but only because I had someone put them on for me! I’ve tried since, but it’s never worked out. But now, I will try again! πŸ™‚

  • dana a. October 19, 2012 at 7:57 pm

I will try them out on my next date night πŸ™‚

  • Leslee October 20, 2012 at 4:39 am

I might have to try this out. Your nail polish is AWESOME, too. I’m going to have to find that color before my next mani!

    • missy October 22, 2012 at 1:05 pm

It’s by e.l.f with the snakeskin lids (their new fall collection found only at Target). It doesn’t have a name on the bottle but it’s the only dark plum color so you shouldn’t have a problem finding it.

  • Ashting October 20, 2012 at 5:44 am

Ahhh miss!!! I love this!! Def. getting the 102’s!!!! I havent ventured from the babies so I’m excited to try em out!!!! Love you!

Thanks for sharing. Please tell me what the pretty nail color you have on in the vid is, love it.

    • missy October 22, 2012 at 1:06 pm

It’s a dark plum (no specific name) by e.l.f (sold only at Target). Thanks for the support, Lisa.

super helpful! What eyeshadow are you wearing? It’s gorgeous.

  • ashlie November 21, 2012 at 7:16 am

how often do you wear falsies? & do you recommend taking them off every night. i can usually wash my face and they stay on! thankkk you:)

  • Becky November 27, 2012 at 12:33 am

Hi – I have the individual falsies because I thought they’d look more natural. Have you ever used those? If so, a tutorial would be VERY helpful! I never could get the hang of it and now they are just sitting all lonely-like in my drawer.

    • missy November 27, 2012 at 1:50 pm

I haven’t had much luck with the individual ones… takes too long to put them on one at a time and to get perfectly even.

  • sarah elizabeth December 2, 2012 at 1:59 am

I just found your blog via Pinterest… I love wearing lashes, my new fans are wispies…

  • Heather December 3, 2012 at 2:13 am

I was curious what kind of glue you use. I couldn’t quite read the bottle when you showed it in the video. P.S. Thanks for the tutorial. Starting a NY resolution of looking more put together and girly.

    • missy December 7, 2012 at 4:50 am

It’s a white to clear glue (comes out white but dries clear). It’s also by Ardell. You can see the exact one HERE.

  • Julia December 7, 2012 at 4:41 am

Great video! Going to try tomorrow for a Christmas party. What is your lipstick I’m obsessed

    • missy December 7, 2012 at 4:48 am

It’s a gloss called “innocent” by Victoria’s Secret! Have fun at your party! Excited for you!!!

  • keylla December 24, 2012 at 3:27 am

question.. does the glue your using come with the lashes my problem is they never stay so I just wanna get it right.

  • keylla December 24, 2012 at 3:31 am

nvm lol just read the above posts! Figured it out today was my first time on your site from pintrest omg I’ve spent 2 hours on it and 3 pages of my notebook full of ideas your inspiring I’m only 21 and I always just straighten my hair bc I can never curl it right and now I just have to try all ur tips!

  • samantha January 9, 2013 at 8:37 pm

i’ve always been so scared to try – you make it seem easy! about to purchase some falsies to try out:) quick question – what is the brand of glue you use? as always, thank yooooou!

  • Amaia January 27, 2013 at 4:30 am

Have you ever used 109’s or 110’s by the same brand? I’m thinking about using them but I dont know how bold they are.

    • missy January 29, 2013 at 2:34 am

I haven’t tried those… buth they always looks more bold off then when actually wearing them.

  • Alacia Hood October 20, 2013 at 11:04 pm

Thank you thank you thank you for this tutorial! I have tried them before but given up because I could never get them right. I am excited to try them out again! Also- do you straighten your hair or blow it out? And what lip color are you wearing in this vid? XO

  • Teresa December 18, 2013 at 5:03 pm

Just saw this and went right out to Ulta and bought them. Put them on…not bad. One question for you though, what eyeliner do you use? Every one I try smudges really bad and I don’t have the stability in the hand for liquid. The one you used in the video looked like a pencil of some type. Thanks!

    Teresa

  • Dyana January 22, 2014 at 2:17 am

I’m trying to master the false lash. Someone asked about wearing the 110’s. I wear those. I love them because they’re natural and nothing bold. I guess they’re similar to the babies!
