Little Mister’s first real experience with fireworks had it’s ups and downs. He was terrified and intrigued all at the same time. Little LuLu would say there was absolutely NOTHING intriguing about it. She bolted up the stairs with tail between her legs to search for safety under our bed. Beckam on the other hand? Conked out in his crib. Kind of a love-hate experience for all the babes.
Bubs first attempt at running through the sprinklers followed suit. Didn’t want anything to do with freezing-cold water that’s sprayed every which way until we brought in reinforcements. Gummy bears. The sure way to get him to try almost anything. Oh the things we do to get our munchkins to have fun. Oi!
The waffles and cupcake (thanks to Nana) on the other hand? Sure winners.
Should be interesting to see what happens next year. Hopefully all of this so-called “fun” hasn’t scarred him for life…

My youngest, a 2 1/2 year old boy, got to play with a sparkler for the first time. At first, he wanted my help, then he said, “No mommy…..my birewurks!”. My 5 year old daughter was handling mini Roman candles (with assistance, of course!) and we all had soooo much fun! Your 4th looks like it was a blast! God Bless y’all!!
