Flatbread Pizza with Roasted Red Pepper Tomato Sauce

Until recently, the words ‘homemade pizza dough’ induced the clenched teeth emoji… Too much headache for it’s own good, man. That is, until I realized flatbread dough (the extra crispy kind, my fave) can be made well ahead of time. Count this as the summer when you finally have friends over for a make-your-own-pizza-party, minus the migraine. Can I get a fist pump?

The sauce. It needs it’s own little explanation. Why the addition of roasted red peppers, you might ask? Nope, not a thing wrong with classic tomato… the red peppers just add another layer of flavor with a slightly sweet after note. Hats off to Mezzetta’s Roasted Red Peppers for inspiring the combo!

Pair easy delicious dough with killer sauce and you’ve got the makings for some extra scrumptious pizza pies!
