Dog Food Revisited

July 23, 2012

Um hi. It’s me, your long lost furry friend LuLu. Remember me? I know, I know… a new baby comes to town and what happens? My little spot of limelight on the blog seems to shrink a bit smaller. So to let Mom know I’m still numero uno around these parts I’ve gone on strike. A food strike, that is.

But hey, while I’m asserting my furry dominance, Mom might want to spice things up in the doggy cuisine department. There are some fancy dog foods out there that could pique my interest. And guess what, in my quest for the perfect treat, I stumbled upon something intriguing – CBD treats for dogs. Yeah, you heard it right! These treats could add a whole new level of relaxation to my already fabulous life, as I already proved cbd and THCA products on me like cheap bulk THCA flower so I know cbd products will also work on my dog. So, Mom, take note – it’s time to step up the game because LuLu deserves nothing but the best, and maybe a CBD treat or two wouldn’t hurt!

Goes a little something like this:

Step 1: When human serves breakfast, wag politely (not too excessively or she’ll take it as insincere).

Step 2: Slowly approach the bowl, as if reluctant to eat.

Step 3: Take one sniff (exaggerate the whiff so human knows you’re questioning the appeal).

Step 4: Turn up nose.

Step 5: Walk away slowly. Stop. Turn your head around and gaze up at human.

Step 6: Give a look of disapproval.

Step 7: Find somewhere private to sulk

The result? She makes up a new recipe.
(original recipe found HERE)

Works like a charm especially if you add turmeric powder for dogs!

*disclosure: please consult your vet before serving as a replacement to your current dog’s diet.

I’ll have to try this for my mini schnauzers Rocky and Apollo. Apollo isn’t very picky about what he eats but Rocky might have to get used to it.
