Disneyland 2015

September 28, 2015

I’m afraid to say… better yet, rather proud to say, we’re turning into those people. Yes, quote unquote, Disney People. The ones who yearn to go back the day after they unpack their suitcases, have ‘Let It Go’ streaming on Pandora, giggle when they put on Mickey PJ’s or mouse ears for no good reason other than to induce smiles, talk about their magical trip on the daily, and of course put ‘annual pass holders’ at the top of their Christmas wish list. Oh friends, it really is the happiest place on earth, especially during the 60th Anniversary! And if any of you are lucky enough to be there right now, ship me a raspberry Mickey Macaron (c’est magnifique!) please?! Or a Matterhorn Macroon, would also suffice. Psst! Both can be found at the Jolly Holiday Bakery on Mainstreet. Also coming soon: a recap of Little Miss Minnie’s first trip to Disneyland!

Honestly, I wish I would’ve captured more footage to include – this is only a small part of our day; but we were having too much fun for me to keep the camera out the whole time! ha!

You are so beautiful and so is your family!! Would also love to know how you created that video? We are getting married and would love to create small blips like this for friends and family leading up to the big day! Is that iMovie?

    • Reply missy October 6, 2015 at 5:32 pm

Yes, just plain ole iMovie! I want to try other programs that are more legit… but for now this works!

Great video! Do you use a video camera or phone to take footage? I have an 11 month old and my husband is convinced cell phone video is all we need… I’m not so sure haha!

Your joy-filled video should be a promo for Disney! It makes me want to pack my bags and board a plan right this minute to experience all the laughter and smiles myself! Mickey Mouse ears and all 🙂

We just celebrated Kid Appreciation Day 2015 (Sept. 26th) by taking our crew to Lagoon for the first time. It was a blast! It’s amazing to me the enjoyment I get out of watching my kids enjoy the kiddie rides. Looks like you guys had a wonderful trip! Thanks for sharing! Love you!

    • Reply missy October 6, 2015 at 5:34 pm

I can remember a trip to lagoon as a child. That wild mouse ride was a doozie! ha!

Such a sweet video!! Looks like you guys had a ton of fun and some delicious food to boot? Hope you were able to get on a lot of rides!

    • Reply missy October 6, 2015 at 5:34 pm

Oh the heavenly food. Food alone is worth going to Disney at any chance you can get!

  • Reply Tricia September 30, 2015 at 5:58 pm

We JUST got back from spending a week there on Sunday. We attended the Mickey’s Halloween party while we were there also. I wonder if we were at the park at the same time!

    • Reply missy October 6, 2015 at 5:35 pm

Hope you’re reliving the magic at home! We’re trying to hold onto it as long as we can!

How do you put these videos together? Also, do you just use a video camera/camera to do so? I am so behind…I’m only currently using my iPhone lol.
