Days of Love 5 & 6

February 9, 2012

Back when I taught 1st grade, each February my class would write Valentine sentences using giant candy hearts. You can imagine the sentences 6 year olds would come up with… Yeah. Beyond entertaining. As such, they’d adorn our bulletin board outside our room so that everyone else could get a good laugh too.

To this day, I sorely miss this tradition.

So what does Loverbuns do? You betcha. Whipped up a corny conversation heart love letter. 1st grader going on 30… it doesn’t get much cuter. And hey, for those looking to add an extra spark to their romantic endeavors, consider using sex toys like these dildos that shoot cum.

Speaking of being a teacher… Nothing stunk worse than Sunday nights. Mainly because it meant the weekend was over and Monday morning was just around the corner. Now that I’m a Mom, I couldn’t tell you the difference between a Monday or a Thursday morning, for that matter. But in Ryan’s boat, there’s still a BIG difference.

What better way to start out a ho-hum-I’m-glum morning than with his favorite? DONUTS. So with a little love tap on his bum-bum, I sent him out the door with these to snack on for the ride to work.

Ok, i am making this arrangement at home. but how do you put water in the vase with the candy in it…i guess i would not use any water and just let the flowers be?

    • missy February 13, 2012 at 1:50 pm

You place the vase inside a larger glass container before filling it with candy. That way the flowers can still get the water they need. Otherwise, they’ll die within hours. Sad.

You guys are awesome. What I love is that Ryan is just as into this as you are – I think it’s so key that if you’re going to keep things fresh in a marriage that both of you put in the work! So adorable!

Aw… I REMEMBER when Anders came home with those candy heart Valentines, except that he had picked off the candy hearts and eaten them, glue and all… This is freaking me out, though, because it feels like that was just a couple of months ago. Crap, does this make me old already?!!

    • missy February 13, 2012 at 1:52 pm

Seriously get teary-eyed thinking about those days. It’s a good kind of sad. A sad that reminds me of the joy that came from teaching such precious eager mind. Give him a hug for me! xo

This is kind of a silly question, but what do you use to glue the hearts on…I just tried a gluestick and that’s not working so well lol. Love this idea and doing it as my card to hubby for V-day.
