Christmas with children is magical — heightened to whole new level. There’s no way to describe it other than, I would never want to share christmas with anyone else than my own little family. Their eyes of wonder watching twinkly lights. Little voices that squeal with delight anticipating meeting Santa. Holding hands everywhere they go. Smiles over cocoa. Playing hide n’ seek in amongst Christmas trees. Carols blasting while we trimmed the tree in our cozy new home. I couldn’t have dreamed of a better night; my heart literally bursting at the seams.
Everything about this is so picturesque! Makes me so excited to get to share Christmas with our future little ones someday 🙂

Lights are called “Twinkle Lights” they have a thin string and tiny bulbs (with a setting that makes them twinkle). Makes your tree sparkle!! The majority of the ornaments are actually from Costco, believe it or not! Score!

I have a Canon 5D Mark iii. Shoot at a low aperture, higher ISO, and moderate shutter to avoid blur! I believe these were taken at 2.0 aperture.

So what gives?? I see people asking questions about your outfit, and in previous posts questions about hair, nail color ect. Many of which are things I’d like to know too, but refrain from asking to avoid you answering the same question over and over. Can’t remember what type of tree we ended up getting. It’s not a balsam (those are the classic thick evergreens)…
