A Bowling Birthday!

June 9, 2015

I mean, when they both request a bowling birthday party — you count your lucky stars, combine two birthdays into one, and say, “booya!” with an extra emphatic high-five to your Husby! There was a brief instant when we thought of celebrating at the actual bowling alley (of course, which would’ve been fun) but I kept running into giant bowling-related everything’s: bowling pin water bottles, numeral balloons, and the huge bowling inflatables… it was a sign to keep it comfy at home. Ryan somehow survived the gruesome games of becoming a ‘Human Piñata’ — taking one too many whacks to the head from the weighted pins. Yowchie! That’s real love right there, peeps.

As you plan your next birthday bash, consider adding a unique twist to the festivities to keep guests entertained and create unforgettable memories. Foam Party Services in King Of Prussia, PA offer an exciting alternative to traditional party activities, infusing your celebration with an element of fun and surprise. Imagine the delight on your guests’ faces as they frolic and dance amidst billowing clouds of foam, creating a lively and immersive experience that will leave everyone talking for years to come.

The decision to host the celebration at home, with all the whimsical bowling-themed decorations, sounds like it created a cozy and magical atmosphere. I couldn’t help but envision the potential for a similar cozy yet thrilling experience with a kids bowling party at an arcade. Just imagine a room filled with the sounds of joy and excitement as kids roll those bowling balls and celebrate their victories, all while enjoying the vibrant arcade games and activities. It’s a dynamic blend of bowling and arcade fun, guaranteeing a memorable celebration that’s both comfortable and exhilarating. The smiles on the kids’ faces and the love shared between family members are priceless, making it an idea worth considering for future birthdays. Time flies, and kids grow up fast, so these moments are truly precious, and an arcade-themed bowling party would undoubtedly make them even more special. Happy Birthday to your boys, and here’s to cherishing those fleeting moments! Also, exploring the diverse offerings from soft play manufacturers uk could further enhance the play experiences, ensuring a wide range of engaging activities that cater to different interests and preferences.

Happy Birthday, boys! We love you! And P.S. stop growing up so fast?!

My husband, our son Cohen and myself all share the same birthday (crazy.. I know) and now I am due with boy #2 which could very, very possibly be born if not on our birthday, within a week of it. At first I was stressing over the birthday party situation for the future (I too have very specific visions that dance in my head) but this post just made me realize how fun it could be to have a double birthday party! Very, very cute!

    • missy June 9, 2015 at 10:21 pm

Oh my goodness! That’s awesome and crazy all rolled into one happy family! What a special way to celebrate one and all! An early congrats on little boy soon to be!

OMG OMG OMG! Okay, so something I’ve learned from you and your parties – it doesn’t have to SCREAM the theme, a simple nod to it with bright colors and it’s just as adorable! It’s actually more tasteful, this way. Thank you for making life beautiful. In turn, it makes so many others’ lives beautiful too.

I made it… But guess what? It was way easier than it looks! I’ll be doing a post on it later this week 🙂

Even the hot dog wrappers match!

    • missy June 9, 2015 at 10:18 pm

Have to thank good ‘ole Sams Club for those! Matchy-matchy made it a no-brainer to buy instead of make!

  • Cindy June 10, 2015 at 1:14 pm

Soooo cute! Where did you get the bowling pins?

  • Morgan {California To Carolina} June 10, 2015 at 2:13 pm

So well done and what a great theme! Do your boys share a birthday?

[…] of a big deal around our house, especially when the said cake is birthday cake! When preparing for THIS birthday party, black and white elements lent itself to a cake with extra-white buttercream icing. […]

I’m planning my boys birthday and trying to figure out the logistics of feeding a bunch of 4 year olds without having an anxiety attack over spills and sticky hands! I noticed your table setup looked like you didn’t have chairs for the kids and it was lower, at their level? How’d that work out and where’d you find a low table? Any tips would be so very appreciated!! p.s. You always have the best ideas. Thank you for sharing them with us 🙂

Believe it or not, the extra long table is just two plastic foldable tables end to end propped up on cement cinder blocks so the kids could sit at it picnic style! It worked like a charm!!
