This past Sunday Beckam was blessed. You could say it’s similar to a baby christening but instead of being baptized (which happens later at age 8), he’s given a father’s blessing to make his name official. The little stinker decided he wasn’t too keen on being the center of attention. He fused through the whole thing making it slightly nerve-racking for Husby to carry on composed. But both managed to get through it even if butterflies were fluttering around.
To say he melts all of our hearts is putting it mildly. It’s hard to believe he hasn’t always been a part of our family. He has his own special place. Our life with him in it is that much happier. Besides, who can help but smile back at a face that’s ALWAYS smiling?

The same thing happened to us when my husband blessed our little girl back in March. Lilly cried through the whole thing – poor Bevan. He had a hard time getting through that.
