Gotta love having a weekend birthday! It was like having 3 birth all-about-me days in a row! Meep!
It all started Friday night. Husby surprised me with a dinner date and this beauty of shortcake heaven.
Saturday was all about being lazy and overindulging. We all slept in (talk about the surprise gift ANY mother lives for), whipped up some blueberry pancakes, and played in PJ’s until noon. Next? DING DONG! A special chocolate covered strawberry delivery! Those tasty morsels were just early appetizers to more food of course. For a late lunch, we tried out this place we’ve been eyeing for a year now. The wait has always been too long… but somehow birthday strings were pulled and we got in! Then it was back home for a family siesta. The evening was spent playing with paint and pottery. We all decided a mixing bowl was fitting since Bubs is my lil’ sous baker.
And Sunday? Take a lucky guess (wait for it)… MORE food and MORE lounging around. A birthday fit for a perpetually hungry and exhausted prego Mama.

His hair is craziness right now! You should see it when it’s not styled. I need to decide whether to keep growing it out (surfer-ish) or it needs a serious cut. Ha! Thank you so much for the sweet comment. xo

The red pants look more red on screen but are a pretty bright pinkish red. They’re from Target believe it or not. Not maternity but ride low enough to fit below the belly. You’ll need to buy 3 sizes larger than normal. They’re REALLY skinny, like tight as nylons if you don’t go way bigger. They also come in yellow, green, and blue. The necklace is from F21. Search italian horn and it’ll pop up. xo

The jeans are target as well as the flats. However the flats were purchased a few seasons ago

I use a Nikon D5000 and edit by lightening and sharpening images when needed. Other than that, I don’t play around much with my pictures. Glad you’re liking the blog! xo
