Go Bananas

April 18, 2013

You’re right. It’s not quite homemade ice-cream season, just yet… especially for those of you who are still knee deep in snow (heaven help you).

But in this house, when there’s more than enough bananas to feed baboon and chimp alike, some are bound to get splotchy.

So we made ice-cream…

Because it makes for the perfect after dinner surprise.

That and it’s sunny out.

These are my favorite go to treat when our bananas get squishy, I secretly hope that my monkey’s will leave me enough ripe bananas to make these!
