It’s Apple Thyme… Syrup.

In November, the smell of food is different. It’s an apple and orange and cinnamon smell. It’s warm and fills up a house in the morning — can pull everyone from sleepy beds. Such is the case every Sunday in our cozy house. Food is especially good, in November. And so is this syrup. It’s the essence of fall — made to shower a steamy waffle. When creating the recipe, I figured I’d add the butter into the syrup to eliminate the need to butter the waffle! Why oh why did it take me so long to figure out this trick? Oh and I highly recommend serving maple sausages, alongside.  Mmm, so so good!

Looks so yummy Missy! I will have to try this. I was wondering if you would be willing to share the brand/color name of your quartz countertop. I have searched your blog and instagram to no avail!=) Also you painted your cabinets SW Alabaster? Have you been happy with this color? I am leaning towars white dove by BM but wondering how you like yours. Who knew whites could be so hard. Thanks for taking the time to answer and have a great Sunday with your beautiful family!xo
