Almost every strong person believes in two principles: one, the future can be better than the present; and two, I have the ability to make it so. The good thing is, life gives you a second chance and it’s called today, tomorrow, and the next day. Even a few dull crayons in the crayon box, still have the ability to color a beautiful picture!

If you haven’t noticed, there have been crickets chirping on the blog for the past week. It’s been an emotional roller coaster, to say the least. What’s going on, you ask? No worries… everyone is all good, here. I just felt like sharing a bit of peace and optimism that’s giving me the strength to see the good in each new day!

Optimism is a great way to look at life. With each day we grow stronger. It might be the hard road, but I’ll take it everyday! Love the outfit and the message Missy! <3

Missy your blog always brings me joy. I know we don’t “know” each other, but your sweet blog and family really inspire me as a mother, a friend, a sister, a wife. Shine on you superstar!

Positive thoughts are always good. We need to remind ourselves of that when life hands us some curves. Crickets are okay. They give us the quiet time we need to regroup. I wish you and your family peace, now and always.

Good thoughts! I was just scrolling through facebook and seeing all my friends boating, attending outdoor concerts out of town and football games. I’m not and thought what’s wrong with me and my life? But I’m off to get ready and prepare a bar b q dinner for when the children come over tonight. And that’s truly enough happiness for me. I have to remember that Comparison is the Thief of Joy. Happy weekend, you look wonderful and I adore that bag.

I definitely struggle with optimism once in a while, I think we all do. But its definitely better to look for the good than anything else. You are ROCKING this outfit. I’ve been so obsessed with my black suade fringe bag but I’m so feeling that leather one on you! Awesome hair too Missy?
