8:00 – I love little feet! Any exciting finds at the beauty store?

    • Melissa October 4, 2013 at 12:09 am

Hey girlie! I am looking for a new bb or cc cream. Any suggestions? Thanks so much!!

    • missy October 10, 2013 at 3:44 am

I’ve recently tried Smashbox CC cream – different… not entirely sure on my verdict yet. Peter Thomas Roth makes an awesome BB cream if you’re not a fan of Dr. Jarts.

I always love your photography! What kind of lens do you use? I’m a little new to the DSLR world but I’m shopping for a new lens that will do a lower aperture.

    • missy October 10, 2013 at 3:47 am

      Lens is a 50mm 1.4

Can you share your pizza recipe? I make homemade pizza all the time and yours looks amazing!

    • missy October 10, 2013 at 3:46 am

Secret? We buy our dough from our favorite pizza parlor. It’s $3 and it turns out just like the restaurant (my opinion – even better because you can choose the quality of toppings)!

  • Kate Brockmeyer September 30, 2013 at 10:01 pm

Would you mind sharing your pizza dough and pizza recipe?! It looks amazing, and homemade pizza is a staple in our home!

    • missy October 10, 2013 at 3:50 am

It’s dough we buy from our favorite pizza joint down the street. I heat up my pizza stone to 500 for 15 minutes while I toss the dough. Lay the dough on the stone, prick with a fork, bake for 5 minutes. Remove stone from oven, spread sauce (plain tomato, evoo, lightly salted), fresh mozzarella, parmesan, fresh ground pepper and salt. Return to oven until golden brown and bubbly! Bon appetite!

Where do you live?!? I am moving there tomorrow!! Ha! I just can’t get over the gorgeous leaves! Fall is my favorite time of year and the leaves here in Texas are all still green (or brown from drought!). Sigh…

looks like a pretty sweet day to me;)
do you ever think you will go back to your career as a teacher once the boys are school age? I’ve been a stay at home mom for 7 years and love it…challenging, but I love it!
